Celebrate Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month

This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

My students look forward to sharing what they are learning with their community. They hope to go to their local elementary schools and read to them the books listed. They hope to teach them some Spanish words and about different cultures. My students host an annual fundraiser to help raise funds for Spanish club. They sell typical street foods from Spanish speaking countries. The tables, tent, and wagon will help my students with shade, organization, and assist with travel to and from selling site. The refrigerator will help in class when we learn about cooking other ethnic foods. It will help keeping their ingredients cool and fresh until they are needed throughout the day.
