Celebrating Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month
This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Project
I teach first-grade bilingual students. These books will added into our Spanish classroom library where students will be able to select a variety of leveled reading books.
With these books, my bilingual students will get the opportunity to read more Spanish books as well as even read some books in both languages.
As the new school year starts, I want my students to love and enjoy reading in Spanish just as they do in English. This will help my students become biliterate as they are continuously exposed to both languages.
