Celebrate Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month

This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

We have many Spanish speaking students in our school who love the library and love to read. Currently our collection of Spanish books is very small. We want to have fun and engaging books for all of our students to read including our Spanish speaking students.

Every child has the right to read, and we want to provide this opportunity for all of our students.

We want our library to have a diverse collection with great books for all readers written in both English and Spanish. We want to purchase these fun and exciting books that our students want to read in Spanish to expand our library collection.

Mrs. Johns, District Elementary Library Specialist will only receive her materials if this project is fully funded by August 8.
