This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

I teach a bilingual classroom in both Spanish and English. I am starting to build my classroom library and want to provide my students with a variety of Spanish books they can choose from. Most of the books in my small library are either English or way below their reading level. These books were hand-chosen by my students. They have seen these books in English but not in Spanish. To support my students to improve their Spanish literacy and writing, I want them to read more Spanish books and by donating these books to my students, they will have more books to choose from based on their interests.
