This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Project
This year we would like our students to receive Spanish books they can use for book clubs. These books will focus on theme, plot and all the reading skills they have been focusing on this school year. Students have selected these books that are of their interest that they would love to read during book clubs.
The books reflect the different reading levels that exist in our classroom.
All students will engage in meaningful discussion during our book club time everyday. Students will share their ideas on their topic of discussion. We will greatly appreciate your donation in completing our book clubs. Our students are from low income families and at time struggle to have equal access to enriched literature. We tried to get books from the public library but unfortunately there is not enough copies for all students. Thank you for your time and consideration.
