Celebrate Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month

This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

My fifth and sixth-grade students attend a Title I school in Southern California. They have a myriad of interests and abilities. All of them are inquisiive and come prepared to learn every day. My students enjoy learning and get inspired by what we read, discuss, and create in class.

I am encouraging them not to be embarassed to express their ideas, thoughts and answers.

The dry erase materials will be helpful to those students who are too shy to share their answers or ideas aloud in class. The abilty to write them on dry erase boards will allow them to participate in their own way. The abilty to erase quickly will also be appreciated by those who are timid in class discussions.

The mobile dry erase board will help me work with one side of my combination class while not disturbing the other half of the class.

The building blocks and Teachers Pay Teachers materials will be used to supplement our learning of ancient and Renaisance architeture.
