Celebrate Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month

This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

Our "space" unit is certainly a favorite of my students. Young learners have so many questions about how the world around them and why things are the way they are around us, and this unit provides many answers to these pressing questions through exploration and hands-on learning. This unit is very meaningful and exciting to them, and with these donated materials, I will be able to form a more engaging, exciting learning environment for my students. The stem trays will be used to pass out materials to students during our many science exploration activities, and many of the space-themed items will help increase student engagement by creating a fun learning setting!
