Celebrating Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month
This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Project
My students are just like most 5th graders. Inquisitive, unique, and want the most comfortable learning environment. I need a new desk for teaching my students to learn. This project will allow me to update our furniture for a more functional learning and teaching space often paid for out of pocket by teachers. Please consider donating to this project so I can create a space that my students deserve! I have been teaching for many years and have never had a new desk for this.
A teacher's desk will allow me to have more room for meeting one-on-one with my students, meeting with small groups of students, and grading student work.
Thank you for considering our request for students to succeed!
