This project is part of the Black History Month celebration because it supports a Black teacher or a school where the majority of the students are Black.

My Project

What an amazing thing it would be for my young scholars to have their very own garden!

The vast learning opportunities the gardening experience affords children through hands-on exploration encompasses all subject areas.

The gardening experience will bring meaningful learning opportunities in patients, developing a sense of pride, Math skills, Science and Weather, life processes, literacy and writing, and responsibility, to name some.

Experiences learned from gardening will be easily remembered and hopefully bring a lifetime of enjoyment to our future gardeners.

My little scholars need small greenhouse, grow lights, and garden scissors to begin their journey into the wonders of gardening!
