This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Students

Our students are scientists, mathematicians, readers and authors, and explorers. Our students make discoveries each and every day. Our students are budding world leaders and the world changers of tomorrow.

Our goal is to expose students to many learning opportunities that will prepare them for the future, all while bringing to the forefront ideas and concepts that they may not have considered before.

They need literature resources to understand history, geography, map reading, civics and goverment. We maximize individual potential and ensure that our students succeed in a global community.

My Project

These resources will allow my students to make connections with their home, community, and state history. These specific magazines (and online access), Arizona Fourth Grade Social Studies Weekly, will be used during our social studies units and will give my students an inside look into historical events that impacted the state of Arizona and giving them a resource for informational text.

Studies Weekly (Social Studies) will engage my students by including important textual references, map reading skills, related videos, state geography, and important facts about Arizona and beyond.

Having both the online and paper copy of this resource available for my students is vital to their learning of text annotation, close reading, and learning about others' adventures in history.
