My students need Ipads to be able to connect with the internet.
My students will be working on research, making movies, and using the ipads for Kahoot. So many of my students do not have internet.

My Students
Our school is located five miles from the Mexican border. Our school is 99% low income with many of our students receiving reduced price lunch. Some of our students do not have Internet, so they have to come in the morning or after school to do their research. DonorsChoose.org will allow us to purchase tablets and laptops. Our students do not have the resources that other schools have, but our students do every well on the AP exams.
Having technology will enable our students to be more successful.
My Project
Students will be using the ipads to do research. Learning to create power points and movies. Students will work in teams using the Ipads to review (Kahoot). Ipads are so easy to use and store, students love using them. Because Ipads are small and light, they are easy to pass to the students to use. Storage is a problem in my classroom so having Ipads mini it is a easy to collect and store. We currently have 10 Ipads mini so having two more would help the classroom of 28 to use them.
My students don't always have the means to technology so having IPads would help them with learning about the subject matter.
