Celebrating Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month
This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Project
My students are so eager to learn but many of them are still struggling with phonemic awareness, letter sounds, rhyming and many other skills. This Sounds Sensible Kit is the perfect combination of covering all these skills to help our students master the foundational skills necessary to be successful readers.
Sounds Sensible uses an Ortho Gillingham based method for helping our students to learn basic foundational skills which is what our students need.
We will use this kit every day during small group and intervention to help our students feel successful and motivated to learn.
