My Students
My students face many challenges on a daily basis. From poverty, to neighborhood violence. My students have had a very limited exposure to the world outside of their community.
My students attend an inner city school in Southern California. They have many challenges facing them including poverty
My students are eager to learn despite coming from a low social economic background.
Our school is located in Southern California, and is facing many challenges. My students are resilient and would be very appreciative receiving these supplies. Living in the inner city has not deterred them from reaching for the stars.
My Project
Our school does not have the proper resources to continue to foster our love for learning about character building and bullying materials. We would love to incorporate these vital social skills into our everyday learning. These books and sound system will allow us to do this. Your contribution will ensure that each of my students takes a stand against bullying, and helps other peers while in bully situations. I have requested a sound system for our classroom and 4 anti-bully books.
With your generous donations, I will be able to teach my students about bullying and the strategies that will prevent them from becoming a bully's victim.
This will enable them to attend school without the fear they will be bullied at school or on their way home. These books and sound system will make a difference and help will provide students the necessary tools to combat bullying.
