About My Students
At times, Jermaine is difficult to motivate, but currently he has shown a lot of determination in making sure that we do things right. In preparation for an upcoming unit on sound-mixing and student-created music videos, he decided that we need to be prepared and I am excited to present this grant.
Jermaine is a bright student with a strong will, and he presented this project knowing that we will soon be developing student-made music videos and doing audio mixing in our technology classes. Currently we have no speakers and Jermaine set out to create a solution. He wrote the following grant.
This project will allow use to present many of the audio-based resources that we have been able to gain for our classroom to the class as a whole, rather than individually through the use of headphones. Currently we lack any speakers in the technology classroom; obtaining a set of functional speakers will help us to collaborate on a variety of other projects that we have planned for the remainder of the year.
In Their Own Words
My project is to get speakers for our technology classroom so that we can listen to the music that we are writing and the videos that we are going to make. Right now, we have to use headphones and we have to listen one at a time.
I would be a leader in this program by helping to take care of the speakers. I would not play around with them and I would tell other students how to be careful with them so that they will last for a long time.
This project is important because it helps us complete our technology classroom with the tools that we need. Right now, we are still growing but this will bring us closer to having all our tools.
