This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Project
The headphones will give each learner in my classroom the chance to listen to stories, take assessments, and use district approved apps to enhance their learning in a way that will not interrupt other students during independent workshop time. These headphones will stay in the classroom for students to borrow when they do not have their own or forget to bring them to school. Students will be able to use the text to speech function if needed. It will allow students to be able to access resources they may not be able to use without headphones. Not only will they benefit the person using them, but also the others around in the class so there will not be any distracting sounds coming out of student's chromebooks. These will be put into good use as we reach for our chromebooks almost everyday.
