This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Project
Having headphones in the classroom will allow my students the opportunity to use the interactive programs on the laptops and tablets. Since many of them do not have headphones, they are easily distracted by their peers when working because of the volume on each device.
Distractions are my students' worse enemy, but the elimination of those distractions will create an environment where they can work efficiently and produce quality work.
Any time my students can focus on the task at hand, I see improvements in their work and understanding of the lessons being taught through the various programs that we use on the computer.
