My Project
Tactile Learning: Manipulatives provide a hands-on learning experience, allowing students to physically engage with the material. This tactile interaction helps reinforce abstract concepts like letter sounds and word construction, making learning more concrete.
Visual Support: Many students are visual learners.
Manipulatives, such as letter tiles, cards, or boards, help them see the letter patterns and how they correspond to sounds. This visual connection strengthens their understanding of phonics .By physically manipulating letters and sounds, students are able to develop a deeper awareness of phonemic structure. This will help students practice spelling by allowing them to build and break apart words, which strengthens both their reading and spelling abilities
