My Project
One of my favorite parts of being a Library Media Specialist is reading aloud to students. I have been using the app, Novel Effect, to add sounds to my read alouds and my students love it. Right now we are relying on the sound from my phone, but using speakers would make it so much easier to hear the sound effects. The library is a large space which can make it difficult to hear quieter sounds.
The speakers would help me amplify the sound effects so that all of my learners can hear and stay engaged.
We also love to listen to music in the library whenever we can. This month we read about Aretha Franklin, Louis Armstrong, Ella Fitzgerald, and John Coltrane. Speakers would allow students to enjoy the music more since they can hear it better.
