Sound Equipment for Musical Theatre

My Students

The dedication and talent of my Theatre Troupe students far exceed the sound equipment that we are currently using. I have 45 students in that one class and I am looking to give them a more professional experience so they can grow in their skills and abilities of theatre and musical theatre. Please consider helping us provide the best possible learning environment for them. They work hard every day and deserve the best!

I have several students who have a high level of talent.

They sing, dance, act, write music, and love the arts. They need the best possible opportunity to showcase their skills and abilities, and these items will truly help us.

My Project

Our students are expected to create elements of scenery, properties, lighting, sound, costume, makeup, and publicity. Having up to date sound equipment will give them the opportunity to set-up, use, engineer, take down, and handle properly sound elements such as microphones. The auditorium at our school isn't optimal for acoustics and our students have a hard time performing for our audiences. These enhancements to our sound system will also give the students the ability to perform to their fullest without struggling to be heard. This year we are adding musicals to our list of shows that we will do each year and talking and singing over a music track is difficult without the proper equipment. I'm excited to give our students, staff, and parents the best possible shows and showcase the amazing talent we have here at IJHS. Thank you for all of your support.
