This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Students
I have a group of fourth grade students who are highly enthusiastic and eager to learn something new every single day.
My students always try their best at everything and anything despite the challenges that they face in their daily lives.
My students live in an impoverished area of South Los Angeles. All of my students come from low-income families. We are a Title I school where one hundred percent of our students receive free meals. My students do not all have the same opportunities at home and thus need to be exposed to as many opportunities as possible at school.
My Project
Good bye wires, hello wireless Bluetooth connection. Our sound quality is about to be at a whole other level. We currently have a classroom speaker that is in dire need of replacement. This Bose speaker will be used in the classroom to provide the students with quality sound to educational videos.
Students will be able to clearly listen to speaker audio comfortably from their seats.
Also, the wireless component will provide me with the flexibility of positioning the speaker in different locations without worrying if there is a power outlet close by. Not only will these speakers give my students a better audio experience, my students will now be able to stay focused on listening with less distractions due to the high volume capacity on the speaker.
Nearly all students from low‑income households
Data about students' economic need comes from the National Center for Education Statistics, via our partners at MDR Education. Learn more
