Sound Artistry for Band Students

My Project

Musicians have used books of musical studies, often referred to as Etude books, for centuries. Etude books help student musicians learn techniques specific to their instrument. Often, to simplify, many band books are written to help brass players (for example) develop a technique and all the other instruments in the band learn those passages. While that is great for trumpet players, bassoonists are often left to learn brass techniques on their instrument instead of learning bassoon specific techniques.

These books will help unlock every student's potential on their instrument.

Each of these books is curated to meet the specific needs of developing musicians on their instrument. These are updated musical examples that I feel will be more engaging to current students than similar etude books written decades ago. While those books still have value, students often crave something more modern in order to be motivated to turn to masterworks of the past.
