My Project
My students love to learn and I love to teach. The challenge is often how they learn and how I teach. While I prefer hands-on activities for math, in today's times, "hands-on" is often a manipulation of technology. Programs such as iReady and Khan Academy can not be used without headphones. In order to meet this need, headphones are a necessary item.
Our small community consists mainly of low income families that can't always afford their own set of supplies.
While our school has bought headphones in the past, rarely do the headphones last more than one year. I currently have a handful of working headphones but they are either broke or have the cushion missing off of the ear part. Please help this small needed item not keep my students from learning in their own way.
