This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

This month's instruction looks different than any other. My second-grade scholars are learning about themselves (the human body) and the digestive systems. How cool, right?

Our new learning will teach us how to take care of ourselves (eat healthy, exercise, and learn about our five senses and digestive systems).

In addition, we will learn how each body system functions (digestive, circulatory, muscular, skeletal, and respiratory system). My scholars have been doing such an amazing job learning the information. Now, it's time to transform our classroom into a pretend hospital/clinic (small groups) and see what we know!

The requested hands-on tools will surely help us master our assessments and support our growth in becoming certified mini-surgical doctors and/or nutritionists at the end of the module. Your generous contributions are appreciated!
