My Students
Art supplies needed! I am an art teacher starting in an inner city school in South Florida. I teach K-5th grade, and I am in need of basic art supplies for my students. I would like to provide my students with different materials so they can experience art in many ways. Art is a great tool for self-expression where you learn many skills. I am very passionate for what I teach, and I can’t wait to show them all I know!
My Project
I picked a variety of materials and tools to expose the children to different media and techniques, including colored pencils, paper, markers, and paint. Children in this school have not had an art teacher/art program for many years. I am excited to expose the children to the world of art for the first time. We will learn art history, techniques and many skills. I need materials and tools to teach them. We will paint, draw, build, sew, weave, color, sculpt, and have fun using all the materials we get from this awesome website. I hope we get the help to make this project a reality!
