My Project
I would like to use a TeacherPayTeachers gift card to add Science of Reading Resources to my classroom. I am currently taking a course on how to help secondary students increase their foundational skills in order to become successful readers.
I would like to use fun fluency passages to improve their skills.
The passages describe books, which could also get students excited about reading the book! I think students would enjoy working on these passages rather than reading passages that are not interesting. And maybe one of the books they read about will help them become lifelong readers!
