This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Project
I am working on creating a student space for our newcomers and immigrant students to have access to. This space will provide students with supplies and materials that many do not have access to for financial reasons.
I am requesting various decorative supplies that the students can use to decorate and organize the space.
This provides them with a sense of ownership in pride in the space.
Many of our newcomers and immigrant students do not have access to quiet and private spaces to complete schoolwork with accuracy and success. I am excited to be able to provide this opportunity for my students with your help.
