My Project

I have noticed an increase in issues with kids knowing how to regulate their emotions since the Covid-19 pandemic. Many kids do not know how to communicate or process their feelings. They also have a hard time coming down from an intense emotion. I am hoping these materials with help my students with this.

The harsh fluorescent lights can be very intense.

I know the light covers will help soften the lights. The sequence will be added to my take a break space as a sensory outlet. The green curtain will help soften the natural light coming in through the windows. And the essential oils will also add to the calming environment.
