Celebrate Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month

This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

Our classroom is wishing for some new sensory toys including windup toys, glitter tubes, and wiggle worms. We are also hoping to get new storage containers.

Sensory toys allow my students with Autism to regulate themselves through stimulating the brain with a self controlled experience.

Sensory toys are also beneficial to fine and gross motor.

The new storage containers will allow the students to store their IEP goal work in their own personal area. This will help them develop life skills of keeping their materials organized and getting their materials independently.
