This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

This past year I noticed that my second graders ran out of Kleenex tissues right after Christmas break. I am grateful that they were using the Kleenex tissues on a daily basis and preventing the spread of bacteria, although It’s not enough with the donation we get from the parents of my students. This coming year I want to be ready and have enough Kleenex tissues to prevent any bacteria from spreading.

Having tissues on hand, just lets the students know that their needs are met.

Keeping a few extra boxes of Kleenex on hand, especially during cold and allergy season, would be extremely helpful. The utility cart will be used to hold the Kleenex tissue boxes and all sanitizing items to keep the students safe and for easy access for my upcoming second students. The pencil case is to keep the pencils organized for the students in which they will be able to get a pencil when they needed it to reduce lost learning time looking for a pencil.
