Songs Make Books Engaging! Classic Children's Literature Paired With Songs!

Help me give my students with special needs children's books set to songs so they can engage and focus on the story.

My Project

I teach children with special needs in a diverse school that teaches mostly students who qualify for free or reduced-rate lunch. My students love school and they love learning through play. Most of my students are non-verbal and most have autism.

My hard-working students have special needs related to comprehension and focus and it's hard for them to attend group read-alouds because they just want to move, move, move, but when I pair books with music they can focus and enjoy the literature experience.

This project is full of classic children's song books that pair with songs so we can help our students focus and enjoy the books!
