My Students

We are an ESL magnet school with a population of about 400 students that speak over 23 different languages. Our students learn through the arts (vocal, fine, performing, band and strings). They have multiple opportunities to demonstrate what they learn through the arts and also opportunities to learn via the arts.

Learning through the arts requires deeper thinking, and fully immersing oneself in the arts.

Our students create galleries where their performances are meant to demonstrate their learning in different subjects.

My Project

We currently have a very old arm chair in the classroom that is falling apart and is no longer safe or comfortable. We need to replace it so that there continue to be many different seating options in the room.

A Leather Guest Chair in Black w/Tablet Arm Front Wheel Casters and Cup Holder will allow us to replace the old and broken down arm chair we currently have with a new and safer one.

Because having furniture that can be easily cleaned and disinfected is of paramount importance, this chair will also help to improve the health of my students as it won't be a receptacle for storing viruses and bacteria.
