My Students
Cooperation and critical thinking are becoming the foundation for education. Companies have specifically outlined that new employees lack cooperation and skills to work with a group.
Since we have been closed for the remainder of the school year, here in NYC, I need to keep my kids engaged with each other in conversation so that they might build the skills they need to succeed.
I need to be able to model jotting and annotating through live interactions, videos, and lessons daily. In order to do this, I need a printer.
My Project
No pandemic will stop me from helping my students learn the skills they need to be successful in life. We were reading and writing together before the school closed. Now my living room is my classroom. Therefore, it is very important that I have the resources to help them grasp the concepts and skills they need to succeed in the next school year.
I will need to print my students' work to create a promotional portfolio for them to take to the next grade.
Since my students are working remotely, all of their work is digital. The printer will also help me scan documents from workbooks other materials to get to my students. I can add more variety to my teaching from home and even print out their work to mark up directly.
