My Project

In our first grade classroom one of our units of study is the human body. I would love to wrap up our unit by gifting my students a medical day. A day in which they get to dress up as surgeons with gowns, gloves, badges, and caps. I will transform our classroom into a hospital. Each student will work with a team to solve medical cases with clipboards.

Students learn best by doing not by watching or listening.

My classroom will be divided into four operating rooms on the day of this project. Each group will be assigned an operating table. Students will rotate from one room to the next. Students will use bandaids to put contractions back together and many other activities like these.
