My Students
I have a very diverse group of students who have so many different educational needs in order to help them be as successful as possible. They are so caring and hardworking. At our school, we have students from all levels of the community from our lower neighborhoods all the way to our wealthy areas.
The thing I love about our school and community is we teach each student the same regardless where they came from.
When they walk through the door they become a PW leader and our goal is for them to make a difference and for us to make a difference for them.
My Project
Next school year my team and I have decided to turn our 3rd grade hallway and classrooms into a scene from a Harry Potter movie in order to increase student motivation in a fun and exciting way!
I want to transform my classroom into a "common room." In order to do this, I will need seating that is more inviting and relaxing.
However, we take a STAAR test each May which requires us to have regular muggle desks during the test. The easiest way to please the testing muggles of the world but maintain excitement and fun for the kids in a new magical world is inflatable furniture that can easily be taken down and stored.
We would hate for the ministry of magic to take away our wands if the testing muggles find out.
