Celebrate Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month

This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

Simply put, kids love Hot Wheels. I need some supplies to enhance their learning with hands-on activities and labs. With these sets of Hot Wheels, the students can learn about force, inertia, energy transfer, and so much more. There are numerous labs they can do with Hot Wheels and hands-on learning is one of the best ways to experience the laws of physics. We would love to have a couple of motorized boosters to show energy transfer, as well as D cell batteries to keep them running. Motorized RC cars for the more advanced students will help us differentiate the learning and show new energy techniques and principles.

What better way to teach students the physics of energy transfer, as well as potential and kinetic energy than with a set of tracks, curves, and motors?

I can't wait to see their faces when they get a chance to play with it (but are really learning the whole time!).
