Some Essentials to Help Motivate Some Third Graders

My Students

My students are the sweetest and kindest students around. Although they are very sweet they are also the most talkative. Finding activities for them to keep busy with, challenge them, and are still academic and be a challenge.

Students need multiple ways of learning concepts and that why I love DonorsChoose.

They give my students many opportunities to continue to learn and grow. My third graders start state testing this year and need all of the opportunities for growth they can get.

Covid has really hit hard in our school district and learning loss is huge. We need as much help motivating and pushing our students to succeed.

My Project

This is a three part project to help meet the varying needs of my third grade class. The informational text and sports related realistic fiction will help catch the eye of some of my more reluctant readers to increase my students literary exposure. This will also increase independent reading.

The mouse robot activity is what my students will be the most excited for.

They will be able to code to move the mouse across the game board.

Some of my struggling students in basic repeated addition and building arrays needs the tools to help them visually see this.
