Celebrate Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month

This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

My students love coming to Physical Education class and love the soccer unit. We also have a girls’ and boys’ middle school soccer team. Soccer is a great way for kids who are learning balance, running, jumping, and overall agility. Soccer builds self-confidence and self-esteem: Playing soccer, helps kids gain confidence in their abilities. As they develop skills and make friends they become more comfortable with the activity.

The students in my classes deserve new soccer balls and everything else that surrounding districts have.

We are dedicated to providing our students with the necessary building blocks to live healthy and active lives. Soccer is a lifetime sport that our students can play inside and outside of school. We provide a variety of activities that will help the students find what they love to stay active as an adult.
