Solving Social Problems in Math with Advanced Technology

Help me give my students a classroom MacBook to design accessible, culturally grounded lessons, and access to software designed to solve social problems.

My Project

As both a geometry/algebra teacher and a PhD student focused on justice-involved care through education, I use technology to design culturally relevant, accessible, and solution-oriented learning experiences.

But right now, I’m using outdated tech that slows me down and limits what I can create for my students.

A MacBook laptop would be a vital tool in developing interactive lessons, designing student-centered data tools, and accessing programs that support learners with diverse needs. It also offers a wide range of software and tools that are useful, including mental health, mathematical, social justice, and college/career planning platforms that we use to address the whole student.

We currently use an iPad to compensate for the gap, but we need a laptop.
