My Project
Every child deserves to feel safe, supported, and ready to learn. For many of my students, managing their emotions and staying focused in the classroom can be a daily challenge. This project provides calming tools like weighted blankets, body socks, chewlery, and weighted lap stuffies—designed to help children self-regulate, reduce anxiety, and enhance their focus. These sensory supports will create a nurturing environment where students can engage fully and thrive academically.
But learning isn’t just about what happens in their minds—it’s also about how they feel physically.
For kids facing chilly winter mornings and long days at school, a simple pair of cozy socks to replace cold wet ones when they come in from recess can bring a sense of warmth and security, helping them stay comfortable and focused. These small comforts add up to big impacts, ensuring that each student feels valued, cared for, and ready to embrace their potential.
