Help me give my students safe solar glasses to experience the solar eclipse on April 8th!

Celebrate Black Teachers and Students

This project is part of the Black History Month celebration because it supports a Black teacher or a school where the majority of the students are Black.

My Project

Dear Donors,

On April 8th, we will have the incredible opportunity to witness a rare celestial event - a solar eclipse!

And we want to make sure our students can experience it in the safest and most memorable way possible.

That's why we are asking for your help to provide solar glasses for our school community. With these glasses, our students will be able to safely observe the eclipse without risking any damage to their eyes.

This is an event that our students will remember for the rest of their lives. It's a chance to witness the wonder and beauty of the universe firsthand. And it's an opportunity for us as educators to inspire our students to engage with science, technology, engineering, and math (STEM) in a whole new way.

But we can't do it without your support. The cost of purchasing solar glasses for our entire school community is significant, and we simply don't have the resources to make it happen on our own.

Your donation would make all the difference. With your help, we can ensure that every student in our school has access to solar glasses and can safely experience the eclipse. Your generosity will help us create a lasting memory for our students and inspire them to pursue their interests in STEM.

Thank you for considering our request. We are grateful for any support you can provide and hope that you will join us in making this once-in-a-lifetime event unforgettable for our students.
