Solar Eclipse Basics

Help me give my students basic materials to make viewing the solar eclipse a meaningful experience.

My Project

My third grade students are very inquisitive. With the solar eclipse approaching, now would be a great time to build up our basic supply stock, so that when we view the solar eclipse in April we can draw and record our findings.

We are in a great location for viewing the eclipse in April, and we don't want to miss the opportunity to document what we see.

It is going to be a great event, and having these supplies will make it so much more enjoyable. We will use the glasses to protect our eyes, the crayons and cardstock to document our findings, the laminating pouches to protect our work, and the pushpin magnets to display our drawings.
