Celebrating Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month
This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Project
Our students are excited about the next solar eclipse coming on April 8th! It is not safe for the students to look at the eclipse without eye protection.
Let us view the eclipse in class!
We are looking to provide solar glasses for the entire 8th grade students and staff so we can view the eclipse during the school day together.
Our students would love the opportunity to experience a rare natural event! Please help provide the eye protection for this rare educational experience and opportunity to make positive memories!
More than three‑quarters of students from low‑income households
