This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

My goal for this project is to have students become engineers and learn to create and design a car that runs on solar energy. I want them to have tools to help them construct a vehicle that will use renewable energy. These kits will help them achieve their goal of creating a car that runs on solar energy. This will be a way for them to have hands-on experience.

In this project, students are being asked to come up with a car that runs on renewable energy.

They will first need to come up with a business proposal, then come up with a design, and finally create a model of their car.

My students are so special because they are bilingual. They read and write in two languages. They have been in school since kindergarten learning both English and Spanish. I want them to be able to see they can also be great scientists and engineers. Thanks so much for investing in our classroom.
