My Students

Our students are faced with a lack of technology within our school site due to budget cuts. The PTA nor various fundraisers have been able to allocate enough funds to get our technology where it needs to be. All of the current computers that the students use are five to six years old.

Our California students are in great need of an environment where technology is easily accessible for their use.

The students' hope and goal is for a replacement of all existing computers that have been outdated. Our students are not at a Title 1 school which means funding for items such as computers is limited.

My Project

I am requesting 1 laptop computer for my classroom. Students will learn tremendously with the use of this computer through interactions with the advanced software of the core curriculum. Also, students will be able to watch abstract concepts and tier 2 vocabulary and see graphic organizers for note taking for units of instruction provided by pacing guides.

Our students need technology!!

Purchasing a laptop will be an asset to a school which has daunting technology needs and a small budget for all of our 911 students! The measure of improvement from this item will be monitored through assessments.
