Softball Caddy

My Students

My students come from low-income, high-poverty backgrounds and face many challenges in and out of the classroom. School, especially gym class and extra-curricular activities, are a place for them to escape their unfortunate surroundings and have fun in a safe, learning environment.

Most of my students come storming into PE class every day with giant smiles on their faces asking, "What are we doing today coach?!" They cannot wait to see what I have planned for them, no matter if it is team handball, floor hockey, volleyball, soccer, dance, or step aerobics.

They just want the space to move and good PE equipment to use! The same can be said for sport practices. They are thrilled to be there and ready to work hard to get better.

My Project

Please help in supporting our middle school softball team. We are in need of some new game softballs and a ball caddy. The softballs will be used for home games. We always have to provide two per game. The ball caddy will be used for batting cage hitting and on-field flyball reps. You will save my back pain by not having to reach down to the bucket and grab a softball out of it. My players and I will be very grateful for your support and we will use these every day at practice and in games.
