Soft Starts, Basic Supplies, and Games! Oh My!

Help me give my students a variety of items that are needed in our classroom.

My Project

I love how caring my students are toward one another. They love to interact with each other, whether it's playing, talking, or collaborating on classroom projects. I have chosen some games for them to have in the classroom for those down times that are so important to children. What better way to learn the appropriate way of dealing with winning or losing at a game than to have board games to play with in the classroom during earned free time?

I would love to provide my students with materials for soft starts in the mornings when they first walk in.

Some of the items on my list include STEM activities or materials that I can utilize in STEM activities/bins for soft starts to the day. Soft starts are a fun, gentle, and interactive way for the students to transition from home to school.

I also included some necessary "housekeeping" items such as a garment rack to hang anchor charts. By hanging the classroom anchor charts on the garment rack, they will be easily accessible to the students when they need them. In addition, I have added individual dry erase boards for whole group quick checks, mesh bags to easily organize math manipulatives, headphones for those who were unable to provide their own, and cursive handwriting books since it is now a standard for 3rd grade when writing.

Any help would be most appreciated from myself and my sweet, intelligent, and energetic 3rd graders.
