My Students
I teach Pre-K, ages 3 to 5 years. All of my students have overcome adversities or live with trauma or a special need. Most of my students live in poverty. I individually try to bond with each family and put my best foot forward to get them the intervention services they need. My students are a blessing to me because each one has a special place in my heart.
I believe these students will achieve their goals in life through education and have bright futures.
I set individual goals for each student. I focus many of my lessons on science and math. These students are very young, and it is up to me to set their educational foundations.
My Project
Students use disposable masks to and from school and within the classroom during free choice time. At the beginning of class, students are more likely to leave their masks on when they have choices on which mask they will choose for the day. These masks will give our students choices. We go outside daily during winter months and go through many socks we provide for children who do not have them for the day. We also are learning to use the potty and sometimes when playing forget so the undergarments are much needed.
