My Project

Hello!

We are very excited to add a Socio-Emotional Center in our 1st Grade Dual Language Class.

One of our first units at the beginning of the school year is our body, the best opportunity to learn about brain, body, emotions and how we are able to work on some techniques to manage our emotions and succeed in every aspect of our daily work as a team improving our interactions in class.

When we learn a technique in class and after practice every day, we share it with families. Our students will have a "take calm home" back pack. This Backpack will contain materials our students can share and show to their families. We have a chime and a sand clock for the backpack, now we would like to have books in English and Spanish to reach every family in our class.

We order some water bottles to create mindfulness jars for every student. These bottles are the most effective for this purpose and hard to find. We found them here!
