My Students
African American, Hispanic, Asian, Middle Eastern, Caucasian... The wonderful melting pot of my Kindergarten class. My students are energetic, funny, inquisitive, and strong. They are so excited!
Our school includes low-income students, with 100% of them receiving free lunch.
They come from homes with wonderful parental involvement, but minimal resources.
My students are very eager to learn new things. I want to be able to afford them different opportunities to learn many new things by using different materials and different avenues.
My Project
Learning must go on! Our country is going through a serious pandemic at this moment in time, but schools are still set to open their doors for the 2020-2021 school year. As a teacher I want my students to be as safe as possible and still be able to learn. With these items, I feel that I will be able to do so. Students will be able to have their own sanitized items in the classroom so that we are extra precautious as to not spread any germs and to stay safe. Please help me to keep my students extra safe during this time.
