Help me give my students socially distanced clean up! Art making and learning aren’t the only parts of covid safety. My students need to be able to distance themselves during their clean-up socially.

Celebrating Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month
This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Students
My Art students are in Pre-Kindergarten through Grade Five, and our school is of the highest need. One hundred percent of our student population receives complimentary breakfast and lunch daily. The school is high in demand, and it is also highly caring as teachers, support staff, and administration work hard to create a positive learning environment. Here, Art is a crucial component of each student’s education. Visual Art is a language for all languages, an outlet of expression, and a problem-solving building block. Student artworks are proudly displayed in our halls and community events, including Art and Literacy Night and virtual art galleries. Annually at the Wadsworth Atheneum, a selection of our students’ artworks are displayed in the Hartford Youth Art Renaissance.
My students face so much uncertainty as Covid-19 persists, but I still hope to keep their learning time regular as possible.
Being able to experience messy art materials that weren’t possible during covid, so we are making up lost time. As students do not have the space for considerable clean-up or the time to spread handwashing in large groups, these wipes will help transition and lessen laundry.
My Project
In my quest to give students painting, printmaking, and other messy art mediums they missed last year, I need to keep students occupied and learning but also safe. As a mom, I know that wipes help wash hands, tables and can even remove stains. These wipes will undoubtedly help my students avoid crowding at the sink or crowding anywhere. They cannot seal around a sink.
Having clean-up wipes will also help students who do not have a washing machine at home.
The school community is affected by having clean uniforms. Therefore, I wish to support my student's needs beyond the art class, even something as simple as cleaning up after a painting lesson.
